Glasgow Kiltwalk Success – £1,700 Raised for SNAC!

We are delighted to share that a group of SNAC supporters have successfully completed the Glasgow Kiltwalk, raising an incredible £1,700 in support of children and young people living with Juvenile Idiopathic Arthritis (JIA).

We are extremely grateful to everyone who took part, donated, and supported this fundraising effort. Every step walked helps SNAC continue to provide support, connection, and understanding for our families.

Walking for SNAC families

The team took on the Kiltwalk in support of children living with arthritis, including Holly, who was diagnosed with Juvenile Idiopathic Arthritis at the age of 2.

JIA is a condition that is often not widely understood, yet it can have a significant impact on daily life — including pain, stiffness, fatigue, and frequent hospital appointments. Despite these challenges, children like Holly continue to show remarkable strength and resilience every day.

💛 A cause close to our community

One of the walkers shared how important SNAC has been in their family journey:

“This cause is incredibly close to my heart. The charity has been a lifeline — providing support, information, and a community where families don’t feel alone.”

We are so grateful to hear how SNAC has supported families during some of their most challenging times.

🙏 Thank you

As a volunteer-led charity, SNAC relies on fundraising like this to continue our work. The £1,700 raised through the Kiltwalk will make a real difference in helping us support children and families across Scotland.

We would like to say a heartfelt thank you to everyone involved — for your time, energy, and generosity. Your support truly helps make every step count.
