Why we do what we do

Our Vision

SNAC is a charity with a single overriding purpose: to provide support for children and families across Scotland who are living with JIA. Guided by this vision, our work is directed towards three main aims:

• to create and nurture relationships of mutual concern and care among those affected by JIA;
• to serve as a source of reliable information, emotional support, and practical help to the JIA community in Scotland;
• and to raise public awareness of JIA across the country.

In the words of our mission statement: Our objective is ’to provide a national support network for children with arthritis and their families through the provision of factual, practical and emotional support’.
