Calling all children with JIA who would like to try skiing.
SNAC are planning a second taster session at Hillend Edinburgh. It will be in a small group, outdoors with COVID safety measures in place. Would your child with JIA like to try skiing? We have teamed up with Disability Snowsport UK to offer another taster 1 hour lesson on Saturday 4th December at 1pm at Hillend ski slopes, Edinburgh. https://www.midlothian.gov.uk/info/200281/snowsports_centre. This is available for any JIA child aged 5 and over. Any adaptations and/or support necessary can be provided by specialist instructors. If there is enough demand and feedback is positive we would look to run a block of skiing lessons and also sessions at other locations such as Glasgow and Aviemore.
